Advocacy
Raising voices for people with diabetes, everywhere
At Blue Circle Diabetes Foundation, advocacy means amplifying the voices of people living with diabetes - in public health programs, and on global platforms. We speak up in Geneva, New York (UN), New Delhi, Bangkok, and beyond to demand affordable access to insulin, diabetes technology, and compassionate care for every person with diabetes.
Our agenda
From contributing to the World Health Organization’s Essential Medicines List (EML) consultations to representing community voices at the World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva, being part ofIDF World Diabetes Congress(Download Report) and panels hosted by UNICEF andNCD Alliance, our mission is to place people with diabetes at the center of health policy conversations.
Whether it’s engaging at the United Nations in New York, participating in global NCD forums in Bangkok, contributing to national guidelines in India, or conducting awareness programs in schools, corporates, and under-resourced areas across India, we advocate for dignity, access, and inclusion. Our work is grounded in the lived experiences of our vibrant diabetes community.
